Here is a photo of the entrance of Mertz. its a panoramic shot I stitched together a few years ago. Been meaning to go back and retake it. This is the only photo ive yet got in the cave. The trunk line downstream from here gets smaller, but only to stoop height, after that it explodes to 30-40 feet high canyon.
